Ruslan Bektemir
He holds higher education degrees in Finance and Oil and Gas Engineering, as well as a Master’s degree in State and Municipal Administration. He is also a certified Top-Category State Auditor.
His professional career began in 1998 within the tax authorities, followed by service in internal affairs and economic investigation bodies. Over the years, he held various senior leadership positions in state structures across the Aktobe and West Kazakhstan regions and served as the Chairman of the Audit Commission of the Atyrau region.
He previously served as the Director of the Internal Audit Department at the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Deputy General Director of MAEK-Kazatomprom LLP, and Head of Service at Samruk-Kazyna Business Service LLP. Additionally, he held the position of Deputy Akim of the Mangystau region.
Prior to his current appointment, he was the Head of the Risk Management and Internal Control Service at JSC NC "KazMunayGas." He has been recognized with various state and departmental awards.
