"Uzdik Maman - 2026": - Professionalism above all
The second stage of the annual "Uzdik Maman - 2026" (Best Specialist) corporate professional skills competition among blue-collar occupations has concluded at the training ground of the Zhaiykmunaigas Oil and Gas Production Department (OGPD) of JSC Embamunaigas (hereinafter referred to as EMG or the Company).
The competition brought together 82 of the Company's employees—winners of the first round, which had previously taken place across the facilities of the production structural units. The oil workers competed across 15 specialties, demonstrating both their theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Abat Kutzhanov, Deputy General Director for Production at JSC Embamunaigas, emphasized the importance of such events for personnel development.
"During the competition, where theory and practice must be harmoniously combined, every specialist objectively assesses their own level and that of their colleagues. The participants strive to prove they are the best in their field. Our goal is to identify Emba's most highly skilled workers, which ultimately drives up labor productivity," Mr. Kutzhanov noted.
The first-place winners in each category will go on to represent Embamunaigas in the final stage of the "Uzdik Maman" competition, which will be held among the subsidiaries and dependent organizations (SDOs) of JSC NC KazMunayGas.
In the overall team standings based on total points, first place was claimed by OGPD Kainarmunaigas, second place went to OGPD Zhylyoimunaigas, and third place was awarded to OGPD Dossormunaigas.

"Embamunaigas" JSC is a subsidiary of "KazMunayGas" National Company JSC. The official history of "Embamunaigas" JSC dates to 1922 — from the creation of the "Embaneft" trust to develop the Dossor and Makat fields. The main activities of the company include geological exploration, development of oil and gas fields, extraction of oil and gas, and preparation of oil and gas.
"Embamunaigas" JSC includes 6 production structural divisions located in Atyrau city and 4 districts of Atyrau Region: "Zhaiykmunaigas", "Dossormunaigas", "Kainarmunaigas", "Zhyloimunaigas", the management of "Embamunaienergo", and the "Production and Technical Service and Equipment Supply Department" (PTSD and ES). The company supplies extracted oil for both exports and the domestic market. Domestically, oil is delivered to oil refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan. For export, oil is transported via two main routes: through the pipelines of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS). The sale of commercial gas is carried out through the national operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of gas and gas supply — "QazaqGaz" NC JSC.
From 2012 to 2025, "Embamunaigas" JSC has allocated 1 trillion 902 billion 223 million tenge for tax payments to the National Fund, the republican and local budgets; 8 billion 096 million tenge has been allocated for the social development of the region.
