Emba Oil Workers Gift School Kits to Children
JSC "Embamunaigas" (EMG) organized charitable events in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Oil and Gas Production Department (NGDU) "Kainarmunaigas," as well as the 90th anniversary of the Kosshagyl field and the 110th anniversary of the Makat field. As part of these events, children from approximately 600 large and socially vulnerable families received school supplies.
"JSC 'Embamunaigas' consistently implements social projects. This year, the charity events took place in Makat, Isatay, Zhylyoi, and Kyzylkoga districts, as well as in the city of Atyrau, and all of them were dedicated to the anniversary dates of our fields," said Eduard Khismetullin, Head of the Social Policy and Administrative Support Department.
It should be noted that EMG traditionally gives priority attention to supporting the population of the oil region. For instance, the "Road to School" campaign, which the company conducts jointly with local executive bodies, annually helps children from low-income families and pupils of specialized educational institutions prepare for the new academic year.
During the current charitable event, backpacks with school supplies were received by approximately 90 students of the regional special boarding school No. 3 for children with speech impairments in Atyrau, about 30 children from the Center for Adaptation of Minors in Atyrau region, and more than 100 children in each of the districts where EMG's oil and gas production departments are located.

"Embamunaigas" JSC is a subsidiary of "KazMunayGas" National Company JSC. The official history of "Embamunaigas" JSC dates to 1922 — from the creation of the "Embaneft" trust to develop the Dossor and Makat fields. The main activities of the company include geological exploration, development of oil and gas fields, extraction of oil and gas, and preparation of oil and gas.
"Embamunaigas" JSC includes 6 production structural divisions located in Atyrau city and 4 districts of Atyrau Region: "Zhaiykmunaigas", "Dossormunaigas", "Kainarmunaigas", "Zhyloimunaigas", the management of "Embamunaienergo", and the "Production and Technical Service and Equipment Supply Department" (PTSD and ES). The company supplies extracted oil for both exports and the domestic market. Domestically, oil is delivered to oil refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan. For export, oil is transported via two main routes: through the pipelines of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS). The sale of commercial gas is carried out through the national operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of gas and gas supply — "QazaqGaz" NC JSC.
From 2012 to 2024, "Embamunaigas" JSC has allocated 1 trillion 780 billion 977 million tenge for tax payments to the National Fund, the republican and local budgets; 7 billion 212 million tenge has been allocated for the social development of the region.
