School of Internal Trainers: Idea Facilitators
A new project, the "School of Internal Trainers," has been launched at "Embamunaigas" JSC, aimed at developing mentorship competencies among personnel. The training program consists of five two-to-three-day modules that will take place in various cities of Kazakhstan: Atyrau, Almaty, Astana, and Borovoe.
All participants, 25 people from 6 structural divisions, will form a pool of internal trainers who can study and convey to the company staff any topic relevant today. In a simple and accessible form, they will explain to colleagues the tasks the company faces, thereby involving them in their implementation.
- “Embamunaigas” JSC pays considerable attention to the comprehensive development of its employees, including their ability to train others using coaching techniques. Being a trainer on topics relevant to a modern oil-producing enterprise is not easy. This activity requires the ability to establish contact with an audience, refined public speaking skills, the ability to win over even the most disengaged participants, and overall – a lot of focused work on oneself,” said Kairat Abenov, Deputy General Director for HR and Social Affairs of "Embamunaigas" JSC.
During the sessions, the ability of employees to conduct training on topics important to the company will be “modeled”: advanced production technologies, sustainable development, eco-friendliness, careful use of resources, social responsibility, and others.
Candidates for the future trainer pool will undergo theoretical and practical courses from leading Kazakhstani coaches and professional actors, mastering critical skills – the art of logically and convincingly presenting any topic, the ability to answer tricky questions, maintain the audience’s attention, and not get lost in front of a crowd.

"Embamunaigas" JSC is a subsidiary of "KazMunayGas" National Company JSC. The official history of "Embamunaigas" JSC dates to 1922 — from the creation of the "Embaneft" trust to develop the Dossor and Makat fields. The main activities of the company include geological exploration, development of oil and gas fields, extraction of oil and gas, and preparation of oil and gas.
"Embamunaigas" JSC includes 6 production structural divisions located in Atyrau city and 4 districts of Atyrau Region: "Zhaiykmunaigas", "Dossormunaigas", "Kainarmunaigas", "Zhyloimunaigas", the management of "Embamunaienergo", and the "Production and Technical Service and Equipment Supply Department" (PTSD and ES). The company supplies extracted oil for both exports and the domestic market. Domestically, oil is delivered to oil refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan. For export, oil is transported via two main routes: through the pipelines of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS). The sale of commercial gas is carried out through the national operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of gas and gas supply — "QazaqGaz" NC JSC.
From 2012 to 2024, "Embamunaigas" JSC has allocated 1 trillion 780 billion 977 million tenge for tax payments to the National Fund, the republican and local budgets; 7 billion 212 million tenge has been allocated for the social development of the region.
