On the eve of International Women's Day, a field forum organized by the women's club "Munaiši Kyz" was held at JSC "Embamunaigas" (hereinafter referred to as EMG or the Company). The event was attended by the Company's management, employees of EMG's production structural units, as well as delegations of women from Atyrau University of Oil and Gas named after S. Utebayev and Atyrau Polytechnic Higher College named after S. Mukashev.
The representative half of the workforce was congratulated on the upcoming holiday by the Deputy General Director for Personnel and Social Issues of JSC "Embamunaigas", Kairat Abenov:
"Despite the fact that the oil industry is traditionally considered a ‘male’ field, women hold a worthy place in it. They successfully cope with all tasks and make a valuable contribution to the work of the Company. I would especially like to note the role of the women's club 'Munaiši Kyz', which unites women, raises the status of female oil workers, and contributes to the development of their professional, personal, and spiritual growth. Congratulations on the holiday! I wish you success and well-being."
This year, the event's co-organizer was NGTU "Kainarmunaigas", whose employees dedicated a theatrical performance to the forum on the theme of environmental conservation and water resource preservation.
For their worthy contribution to the development of the Company and the activities of the women's club "Munaiši Kyz", a group of workers was awarded Certificates of Honor and Letters of Appreciation from JSC "Embamunaigas", as well as diplomas from the women's club "Munaiši Kyz".
It should be recalled that the "Munaiši Kyz" women's club at JSC "Embamunaigas" was established on March 6, 2018, to strengthen internal communication and enhance the role of women working in the oil and gas sector. Over the years, the club has organized and held numerous events of various kinds, including republican forums with the participation of women engaged in geological exploration and the oil and gas industry.
