The second round of the traditional professional skills competition “Best in Profession” among employees of production structural units (hereinafter - PSU) of Embamunaigas JSC (hereinafter - EMG) was held at the testing ground of OGPD Zhaiykmunaigas.
The first stage was held on the basis of the PSU. The competitors with the best results were entitled to participate in the next round of the professional competition.
As usual, the competition was organized in 15 specialties. About 80 EMG employees tested their knowledge and skills both theoretically and practically.
At the closing ceremony of the event, the growth of the number of young specialists willing to participate in the competition as a positive trend was noted by Gibatolla Shanayev, Deputy General Director of EMG for Production, Chairman of the Organizing Committee and Chairman of the Contest Committee.
- I consider the arrival of young specialists at the production facilities and their victory in this competition as a great success of the company. The oilmen demonstrated their theoretical and practical skills. The main condition of the “Best in Profession” competition is not only to show the level of professional skills, but also to pass on their experience to others. In this regard, the Company provides significant support to its employees,” said G. Shanayev.
According to the results of the competition, the winners and runners-up received annual salary increments: for the first place - 30%, for the second place - 20%, for the third place - 10%, as well as were awarded with money certificates and image gifts.
