“Zhyl Uzdiri”: the names of the winners have been announced

JSC Embamunaigas (hereinafter referred to as EMG or the Company) held its annual year-end award ceremony for the best employees. Awarding the title “Zhyl uzdiri” – one of the corporate traditions of EMG JSC, a time-tested measure of personnel support and development.

The competition is a stimulating factor for employees, encouraging oil producers not only to strive for high performance indicators, but also for impeccable compliance with safety and labour protection rules, social activity and personal initiative.

“Every employee of Embamunaigas JSC has a chance to become the person of the year. When selecting the winners, achievements in various areas are taken into account. Of course, the first place is given to production success and discipline, but leadership in other areas is also important: readiness for development and study, improvement of skills and positive personal qualities. Winning the competition is not easy, but very honourable. Becoming “Zhyl Uzdiri” – a serious incentive to work hard and be exemplary all year long,” Rysty Tasmagambetova, Acting General Director of JSC Embamunaigas, said at the award ceremony.

The winners in 6 nominations received diplomas and special statuettes based on the results of the outgoing year. For each of those honoured with the prestigious title, it was the result of focused personal efforts throughout the year to be better, more active and productive.  

During the event, the winners of the competition “Best in Profession-2024” among the working professions of the group of companies “KazMunayGas”, which was held in Aktau in October this year, were also honoured. It should be reminded that 20 representatives of working professions in 15 nominations represented JSC Embamunaigas at this competition. According to the results of the III round Embamunaigas took 5 first and 6 second places (www.emba.kz)

• "Head of the Workshop of the Year" - Roman Sabirov, Deputy Head of the oil and gas production workshop No. 2 of OGPD Zhaiykmunaigas;
• "Shop Chief of the Year" - Kairat Dauletbayev, Head of the rental and repair section of operational equipment of OGPD Kaynarmunaygas;
• "Shop Chief of the Year" - Nurkuat Askarov, Head of the power grid district “Prorva” of the Embamunayenergo Department;
• "Head of the workshop of the year" - Gabiden Bulekov, Head of the garage of special equipment and vehicles of Production and Technical Maintenance and Equipment Configuration Department;
• "Master of the Year" - Meirambek Saginbayev, master of oil and gas and condensate production, brigades No. 2 of the Severny Zholdybai field, Oil and Gas Production Workshop No. 3 of East Makat of OGPD Dossormunaigas;
• "Master of the Year" - Alshyn Tleubayev, master of the rental and operational equipment section in Kulsary of OGPD "Zhyloymunaigas";
• "Master of the Year" - Amanzhan Kurmantayev, Master of the Makat electric grid district of Embamunayenergo Department;
• "Master of the Year" - Rizabek Baesenov, master (loading and unloading operations) the site of the warehouse and the center of delivery of the Production and Technical Maintenance and Equipment Configuration Department;
• "Mentor of the Year" - Bagdagul Zhaikina, chemical engineer of the 2nd category of the oil preparation and pumping workshop of OGPD Kaynarmunaigas;
• "Mentor of the Year" - Anuar Nareshev, Head of the Production and Technical Department of OGPD Zhaiykmunaigas;
• "Innovator of the Year" - Maratbek Tazhenov, Head of the underground well repair shop of OGPD Zhaiykmunaigas.

JSC Embamunaigas is a subsidiary of JSC National Company KazMunayGas. The official history of JSC Embamunaigas dates back to 1922, when the Embaneft Trust was established to develop the Dossor and Makat fields. The main activities of the company: geological exploration, development of oil and gas fields; oil and gas production; oil and gas treatment. Embamunaigas JSC includes 6 production structural subdivisions in Atyrau city and 4 districts of Atyrau region: “Zhaiykmunaigas”, “Dossormunaigas”, “Kainarmunaigas”, “Zhylyoymunaigas”, “Embamunaigas” management and “Production and Technical Maintenance and Equipment Completion Department” (PTM&E). The Company supplies oil produced for export and the domestic market. Crude oil is delivered to refineries in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the domestic market. Oil is exported via two main routes: the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS) pipelines. Marketable gas is sold through the national operator of Kazakhstan in the field of gas and gas supply - JSC NC Qazaq Gaz. From 2012 to 2023, JSC Embamunaigas allocated 1 trillion 608 billion 835 million KZT for tax payments to the National Fund, republican and local budgets, and 6 billion 437 million KZT for social development of the region.
