Asyl Zhuzdik: From Personal Mastery to a Strong Team
For the second consecutive year, JSC “EmbaMunayGas” has successfully implemented the “Asyl Zhuzdik” project, aimed at strengthening the company’s corporate culture. The project brought together 100 employees from the company’s production divisions. All participants were selected based on their professionalism, dedication to their work and strong production performance. Over the course of the day, the participants followed a journey reflected in the project’s motto: “From personal mastery to a strong team.”
The programme was structured around three stages: “Me”, “We” and “One Team.” Opening the event, Kairat Abenov, Deputy General Director for Human Resources and Social Affairs of JSC “EmbaMunayGas”, highlighted the particular importance of the project:
“Creating opportunities for the personal development of each participant is of particular importance. Professional growth, developing leadership qualities, sharing experience and strengthening teamwork skills benefit not only the individual employee, but the company as a whole. This directly contributes to achieving strong production performance.”
The first part of the project, held under the theme “Me. Personal Mastery”, featured a presentation by public figure Aidyn Izbasar. He is known as the author of training programmes focused on transforming consciousness based on the traditional worldview and spiritual values of the Kazakh people. This time, he spoke about the tradition of “Asar” as a foundation for mutual assistance, trust and corporate culture.
The daytime programme, held under the slogan “We. Team”, continued with the “Asyl Zhuzdik – 2026” corporate championship. Participants were divided into ten teams and competed in intellectual and sporting challenges. They were required to demonstrate knowledge, strategic thinking, quick decision-making, leadership qualities and, most importantly, the ability to work together. All activities were designed to strengthen teamwork and mutual trust among colleagues.
At the final stage of the project, “One Team. A Powerful Team,” each team presented its own creative performance. This competition was not scored, as its main purpose was to demonstrate that genuine team spirit is built not only through competition, but also through joint creativity, sincere communication and mutual support.
Following the championship, three top-performing teams were recognised and presented with commemorative prizes. The “Qairat” team took first place, followed by “Qyran” in second and “Zhiger” in third. In addition, the participants themselves selected one person from each team who had made the greatest contribution to the team’s overall performance. These ten employees were also presented with special awards.
The event concluded with all participants performing the company’s anthem together, serving as a symbol of unity, cohesion and shared responsibility for the future of the company.
The “Asyl Zhuzdik” project once again demonstrated that the greatest strength of JSC “EmbaMunayGas” lies in its people. It is through the professionalism, responsibility and dedication of its employees that the company continues to develop successfully, preserving its best production traditions while building a modern corporate culture.

"Embamunaigas" JSC is a subsidiary of "KazMunayGas" National Company JSC. The official history of "Embamunaigas" JSC dates to 1922 — from the creation of the "Embaneft" trust to develop the Dossor and Makat fields. The main activities of the company include geological exploration, development of oil and gas fields, extraction of oil and gas, and preparation of oil and gas.
"Embamunaigas" JSC includes 6 production structural divisions located in Atyrau city and 4 districts of Atyrau Region: "Zhaiykmunaigas", "Dossormunaigas", "Kainarmunaigas", "Zhyloimunaigas", the management of "Embamunaienergo", and the "Production and Technical Service and Equipment Supply Department" (PTSD and ES). The company supplies extracted oil for both exports and the domestic market. Domestically, oil is delivered to oil refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan. For export, oil is transported via two main routes: through the pipelines of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS). The sale of commercial gas is carried out through the national operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of gas and gas supply — "QazaqGaz" NC JSC.
From 2012 to 2025, "Embamunaigas" JSC has allocated 1 trillion 902 billion 223 million tenge for tax payments to the National Fund, the republican and local budgets; 8 billion 096 million tenge has been allocated for the social development of the region.
