Adapting to the Future: Embamunaigas JSC Hosts Women’s Forum

In anticipation of International Women's Day, Embamunaigas JSC (hereinafter EMG or the Company) held a forum titled "Challenges of the Times: Technology and Safety," organized by the "Munayshy Kyz" Women’s Club. The event was attended by company leadership, female employees from EMG’s production structural divisions, and invited guests, including representatives from the Kazenergy Association, Tengizchevroil, NCOC, Utebayev University of Oil and Gas, and the Atyrau Region Police Department.

Through a format of open dialogue and expert sessions, forum participants explored the most relevant modern trends, ranging from the widespread implementation of artificial intelligence to issues of personal digital security. Opening the forum, company leadership emphasized the importance and timeliness of the chosen theme. Rysty Tasmagambetova, Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance at Embamunaigas JSC and Chair of the "Munayshy Kyz" Women’s Club, noted that we are living in an era of rapid change where technology has evolved from a simple tool into our core environment. She stated that the goal of the forum was not just to discuss these changes, but to provide employees with practical knowledge and tools to help them feel confident, safe, and in demand in this new world, asserting that a conscious approach to technology and self-care are the foundations of success.

The first part of the forum featured a discussion on the impact of artificial intelligence on production processes and daily life. Experts detailed how AI is transforming familiar professions, identifying which skills may become obsolete and which will become critically important. Particular attention was paid to the issues of training and retraining specialists, as well as the necessity for the competent and ethical use of technology. Within the framework of the forum, an expert conversation was also held regarding an employee's personal responsibility for their own health.

A separate block of the event was dedicated to the topic of cyber hygiene. Information security specialists spoke about modern digital threats, methods for protecting personal data, and rules of conduct that allow individuals to secure themselves and their loved ones in the virtual space. The culmination of the forum was a motivational interview with Salima Abitova, Head of the Environmental Protection Department at Embamunaigas JSC. As a guest of a mini-podcast segment, she shared her story of professional development and personal growth.

For her significant contribution to the development of KAZENERGY, Rysty Tasmagambetova, Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance at Embamunaigas JSC and Chair of the "Munayshy Kyz" Women’s Club, was awarded the association's jubilee medal. The forum concluded with interactive work with the audience focused on the power of adaptation. Through practical exercises, participants investigated their reactions to change and learned to find new opportunities for development within them. The "Challenges of the Times: Technology and Safety" forum became an important platform for uniting the women's community, exchanging experience, and finding answers to the most complex questions of modern times.
