Embamunaigas JSC held a training session on extinguishing a steppe fire
Checking the readiness of forces and means in case of an emergency, as well as practising joint actions of the employees of NGDU Dossormunaigas, Semser - Ort sondirushi LLP and Mediker-PM LLP became the topic of the training exercise held at the Botakhan field.
According to the tactical plan of the exercise, a steppe fire threatened well No. 186 at the Botakhan field, where underground workover was in progress. The risk zone included the workover crew, the APRS-40 special well repair machine and the workers' carriage (kultbudka).

The shift engineer immediately reports the fire to the management of NGDU Dossormunaigas, fire services of Semser - Ort Sondirushi LLP in Dossor and Makat.
As a matter of urgency, the ORS team dismantled the APRS-40 special machine, which together with the kultbudka were towed to a safe place.
An emergency firefighting headquarters was set up.
"To extinguish the fire were involved employees of Fire Department No. 102 and fire trucks AC-5-40 (KAMAZ) LLP "Semser - Өrt sөndirushi", employees and vehicles (water truck and loader) CDNG "Botakhan". Thanks to the prompt co-operation of the shop workers and the fire service, the fire was extinguished within 20 minutes," said Talgat Saparbekov, head of the HSE department of NGDU Dossormunaigas.
