Embamunaigas JSC held its traditional Spartakiada Games
From 22 to 25 May, the annual Spartakiada Games among the production subdivisions of Embamunaigas JSC (hereinafter EMG or the Company) took place. This year, 480 employees of the Company competed in 12 sports.
The Company's priorities include the promotion of healthy lifestyles and sports. This year, the strongest athletes were identified in the following sports: futsal, volleyball, table tennis, track and field, chess, togyzkumalak, basketball, cyber sports, rope pulling, asyk atu, arm wrestling and swimming.
Sabit Arynov, General Director of JSC Embamunaigas, when awarding the winners, noted the team spirit of the athletes and their desire to win: "The four days of the Spartakiade showed that Emba oilmen are able to be ahead not only in production areas but also in sports. All sporting contests were bright and spectacular. Sport is sport and there are both winners and losers in it. But the main thing that unites us all is interest in sport, strength, willpower and perseverance on the way to victory. Thank you for taking part in the Spartakiade.
The winners of these competitions will now have to defend the honour of the company at the Spartakiade among KazMunayGas subsidiaries.
