Results of the Youth Year in Emba
The Chairman of the Board A. Zhaksybekov met with young specialists at the head office of EmbaMunaiGas JSC (hereinafter referred to as EMG or the Company). The results of the last year were discussed during the meeting, which was full of anniversary and significant events in the life of the Company, and also discussed plans of the Youth Council activities for the current year.
- The Company implements projects to develop the professional and personal potential of young specialists as part of the continuity of the generations of Emba oil workers and social responsibility. A clear result of this work was the inclusion of two young EMG specialists in the presidential personnel reserve. The program for dual training of students is being successfully implemented. At the moment, out of 117 trainees who have been trained at our production facilities, 52 have been employed in the Company based on the results of testing, and in recent years they have confidently taken prizes of professional skills contest "The Best in the Profession" at the annual competition. Today, the Youth of Emba is actively represented in the public life of the Company as well as implementation of social and charitable projects under the coordination of the Council of young professionals. In addition, young specialists made a significant contribution to the organization of festive events that took place last year as part of the 120th anniversary of the oil and gas industry – said Chairman of the Board of EMG Anuar Zhaksybekov and thanked the young Emba workers.
The EMG Youth Council was established in 2013, and currently includes about 700 young specialists from the management staff and production departments.
- 2019 was declared the year of youth by the first President of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev. The youth Council implemented 15 events for young specialists on professional and personal growth, intellectual development and sports support with the full support of the Company’s management last year, as well as a number of charity projects, - said the Chairman of the EMG Youth Council Aigul Ertleuova in the report.
During the meeting, young specialists of the Company - geophysicist of Geology and field development department of NGDU "Zhayikmunaygas", Head Council of young specialists management Timur Kilash and Bereket Eleuliyev, reservoir pressure maintenance operator of NGDU "Kainarmunaigas", who took 2nd place at the "The Best in Profession" competition on the scale of JSC "National Company "KazMunayGas" and the winner of the oil capital award "Leader of the year" in the nomination "The Best Oilman" in 2019 year, thanked the head of the Company for the comprehensive support of young specialists.
At the end of the event, 8 active young professionals were presented letters of gratitude and memorable gifts.

“Embamunaygas” JSC is affiliated company of “KazMunayGas Exploration Production” JSC. Officially, the foundation of “Embamunaygas” JSC start from 1922 - since the foundation of “Embaneft” Trust for development of the Dossor and Makat fields.
