Two anniversaries at Kenbay
At the base of OGPC “Kainarmunaygas” – operational unit of “Embamunagas” JSC ( further – EMG or Company), a ceremonial event took place dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Kazkahstan oil and 20th anviersary of “Vostochnyi Moldabek” field development. Ceremonial events were attended by the management of Mukur and Sagyz village districts, Company management and the staff of oil and gas production enterprise.
- It is symbolic that at the eve of two important dates, Company links with this region great hopes on discovery of new dposits. In this regard, a large scale seismic oeprations are ongoing 3D-MOT (650 km2) at the less explored northern., central and south-eastern part of the exploration block Taisoigan which have perspective of new discoveries. Such large scale work in the national company was never done before, - noted in his welcome speech, the Deputy Chairman on geology and development of MEG, Kairat ADILBEKOV.
During the ceremonial meeting, for the contribution into national oil and gas sector a group of veterans of the Company were awarded with chest medals dedicated to the 120th anniversary Of Kazakhstan oil from the RoK Ministry of Energy. Honor Diploma and Letters of gratitude were awarded to the employees who made significant contribution in the company.
Various sport contests were organized within anniversary events at the base of the company between different departments. At the end of the contest, chief engineer of OGPC “Kainarmunaygas”, Nurlybek Mukanov, has awarded diplomas and money prizes to the participants – winners of competition.
“Vostochnyi Moldabek” field of OGPC “Kainarmunaygas” has been developed for 20 years. Presently, a polymer flooding technology is being implemented here for the first time in order to increase the recovery factor of oil and maintain stable water-cut level. Residual recoverable reserves of this field are more than 20 million tons at the moment.

“Embamunaygas” JSC is affiliated company of “KazMunayGas Exploration Production” JSC. Officially, the foundation of “Embamunaygas” JSC start from 1922 - since the foundation of “Embaneft” Trust for development of the Dossor and Makat fields. The main company profiles are exploration, development of oil and gas fields; oil and gas production; oil and gas processing. “Embamunaygas” JSC consists of six operational structural units in Atyrau and four regional units in Atyrau Oblast: “Zhaiykmunaygas”, “Dossormunaygas”, “Kainarmunaygas”, “Zhylyoimunaygas”, “Embamunayenergo” company, and “Equipment technical maintenance and warehouse management”. Company supplies produced oil for export and domestic market. For the domestic market, oil is supplied to the oil processing plants in Kazakhstan. Oil is exported via two main routes: through the pipelines of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS). Sales gas is marketed through the gas and gas supply national operator of the RoK – “KazTransGas” JSC.
Starting October 1, 2012 to 2018, Embamunaygas JSC sent over 897 billion tenge for the payment of taxes to the republican and local budgets, more than 4.3 billion tenge was allocated for the development of regional infrastructure.
