BICYCLE RUN DUE TO OIL ANIVERSSARY
Today, August the 24th, 2019, in Atyrau, for the first time in the history of “Embamunaygas” HSC (further – EMG or Company), as per the initiative of the EMG BoD Chairman, A.Y. Zhaksybekov, a bicycle run was held dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Kazakhstan oil. The large scale event was participated by about 150 Emba oil people -–management staff and operations employees of all EMG units.
- I welcome you at the first in our history bicycle run which is dedicated to the 120th anniversary of first oil production from “Karashungul” field. This is a remarkable date for the Company and whole Kazakhstan. The memorable future of national oil and gas sector was built on first Emba fields which today is a locomotive for the economics and social development of the country. Main value for our Company is the life and health of employees. Therefore, festive events to the 120th oil anniversary are started with sports contests. Yesterday, for the first time in the history of Emba one more event took place – Kazakh wrestling tournament between our employees - «Munaishy barysy». The mission of today’s bicycle run is to honor the memory of Emba oil people who throughout the centenary history of an enterprise searched and produced oil for the bright future of new generations and the prosperity of our Motherland, - noted in the welcome speech, the EMG BoD Chairman, Anuar ZHAKSYBEKOV.
Bicycle run dedicated to the anniversary of national oil and gas sector has started along the route: EMG main office – S. Valikhanova street – Makhambet street – Baimukhanova street and back. It is notable that both young employees and employees at the pre-retirement age of the Company have participated in the bicycle run. The organizer of the bicycle run were the Young specialists counsel and the social policy and infrastructure department of EMG.

“Embamunaygas” JSC is affiliated company of “KazMunayGas Exploration Production” JSC. Officially, the foundation of “Embamunaygas” JSC start from 1922 - since the foundation of “Embaneft” Trust for development of the Dossor and Makat fields. The main company profiles are exploration, development of oil and gas fields; oil and gas production; oil and gas processing. “Embamunaygas” JSC consists of six operational structural units in Atyrau and four regional units in Atyrau Oblast: “Zhaiykmunaygas”, “Dossormunaygas”, “Kainarmunaygas”, “Zhylyoimunaygas”, “Embamunayenergo” company, and “Equipment technical maintenance and warehouse management”. Company supplies produced oil for export and domestic market. For the domestic market, oil is supplied to the oil processing plants in Kazakhstan. Oil is exported via two main routes: through the pipelines of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS). Sales gas is marketed through the gas and gas supply national operator of the RoK – “KazTransGas” JSC.
Starting October 1, 2012 to 2018, Embamunaygas JSC sent over 897 billion tenge for the payment of taxes to the republican and local budgets, more than 4.3 billion tenge was allocated for the development of regional infrastructure.
