Geologists of “Embamunaygas” JSC (further – EMG or Company) have participated in the work of V anniversary conference “AtyrauGeo – 2019»
On the 23-24 of May, in Renaissance hotel in Atyrau, a V anniversary conference “AtyrauGeo-2019” took place organized by the Kazakhstan society of petroleum geologists supported by the Geology and Subsoil use committee of the Ministry of Industry and new technologies of Kazakhstan and «KAZENERGY» Association. Main topic of the conference was “Exploration of shallow oil bearing layers in Kazakhstan”.
- It is 120 years anniversary of Kazakhstan oil this year. Presently, by developing major projects, we should not forget about historical fields of Emba, Turgai, Mangyshlak and Buzachi, where the foundation of oil and gas sector of Kazakhstan was laid. Therefore, there are many reports in the conference program related to geology and geological exploration issues of upper salt fields, technologies of surveys and development of high viscosity oil and fields at late development stage, - noted in his welcome speech the President of Kazakhstan society of petroleum geologists, Baltabek KUANDYKOV.
During the conference the reports were also presented by EMG geologists – senior geologist of geology and exploration department, Zhuldyz ARYKBAYEVA («Search for oil and gas in Triassic deposits. Experience of “Embamunaygas” JSC – opening of the field Uaz Severnyi”. Authors: Z. Arykbayeva, E. Tasemenov) and manager of geological and dynamic modelling department, Yerlan MUKANOV («Modern techniques of oil reserves recovery at “Embamunaygas” JSC fields at late development stages). An excursion was organized as part of conference program to the Visualization center of production processes of EMG. During the excursion in the Visualization centre, participants have introduced with the operation of “Intelligent field” system in the Company and received detailed answers to their questions. Second facility of the visit was interactive EMG museum where by means of modern digital technologies participants received an information received information on first exploration activities and oil production at Emba territory, historical and modern routes of oil transportation, labour exploits of Emba oil people during World War, old and new technologies applied in oil and gas production in Kazakhstan and in “Embamunaygas” JSC, modern period of Company’s activity, from Media centre and other information in digital format.
