Emba Geologists: from Uzen to Taysoigan
Embamunaygas JSC (hereinafter - EMG or Company) celebrated the professional holiday of geologists. The solemn event was attended by Zhaksybekov A.E., his deputies, authority managing directors, employees of EMG and geologists on a well-deserved rest.
- Emba geologists were at the origins of the discovery of the largest hydrocarbon fields - Uzen and Tengiz. Our older generation has discovered the deposits "Botakan", "East Makat", "South-Eastern Kamyshitovoye", "Dosmukhambetovskoye", "Akingen", "Akkuduk", "Aktobe", "South-Eastern Novobogatinskoye", "Uaz" and many others. etc. The current generation of Company's geologists is successfully continuing to replenish the reserve base. At this time, exploration work is being carried out on the Emba-5 section, where was previously located a military training area. At the same time, large-scale seismic exploration of 3D CDP is being conducted on the “Taisoigan” site, with a capacity of 5,600 square meters km, - noted in a congratulatory speech the Chairman of the Board of EMG Anuar ZHAKSYBEKOV.
Also, on the eve of the holiday, the Group of Geologists of Company received high awards from the association KAZENERGY and Company. The geologists of oil and gas production workshops Nurgul SHAKMANOVA (OGMD Zhaiykmunaygaz) and Darshin ABUOVA (OGMD Zhylyoymunaygaz) were awarded with the Honour Diplomas of KAZENERGY. EMG was awarded with Honour Diplomas - Director of Exploration Services - Yernur TASEMENOV, Senior Engineer of drilling and workover department - Adilkhan AMANGALIEV, Manager of Reservoir Pertroleum engineering of OGMD "Dosmormunaygaz" - Zhassulan TUKHFATOV, Geologist of OGMD “Kaisarmunaygas” research workshop department - Murat Mazhenov, Geologist of oil and gas production workshop of "Teren-Ozek" field of OGMD "Zhylyoymunaygaz" - Gulshat TULKIBAYEVA, Geologist of oil and gas production workshop of OGMD "Zhaiykmunaygaz" - Tursynay Sagingaliyeva.

“Embamunaygas” JSC is affiliated company of “KazMunayGas Exploration Production” JSC. Officially, the foundation of “Embamunaygas” JSC start from 1922 - since the foundation of “Embaneft” Trust for development of the Dossor and Makat fields. The main company profiles are exploration, development of oil and gas fields; oil and gas production; oil and gas processing. “Embamunaygas” JSC consists of six operational structural units in Atyrau and four regional units in Atyrau Oblast: “Zhaiykmunaygas”, “Dossormunaygas”, “Kainarmunaygas”, “Zhylyoimunaygas”, “Embamunayenergo” company, and “Equipment technical maintenance and warehouse management”. Company supplies produced oil for export and domestic market. For the domestic market, oil is supplied to the oil processing plants in Kazakhstan. Oil is exported via two main routes: through the pipelines of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS). Sales gas is marketed through the gas and gas supply national operator of the RoK – “KazTransGas” JSC.
Starting October 1, 2012 to 2018, Embamunaygas JSC sent over 897 billion tenge for the payment of taxes to the republican and local budgets, more than 4.3 billion tenge was allocated for the development of regional infrastructure.
