Emba people for clean Ural!

Over the weekend, about 200 employees of Embamunaygas JSC (hereinafter - EMG or Company) took part in the campaign “Clean Coast”.

On March 16, a two-month campaign “Clean Coast” to clean up the Ural river coast was launched in Atyrau, where 200 employees of Company — the Management department and production subdivision, as well as employees of Embamunayenergo and MPTSME offices based in Atyrau are took part.

- As representatives of a Company with a nearly century-old history, we could not stand aside and after receiving information about the planned campaign, took part in community cleanup. Cleared the area allocated by the Akimat from household waste and dormant fish, - noted Beket Gubaidullin, EMG deputy director of the social policy and infrastructure management department.

Company's employees purchased all improvised means for cleaning the area at their own expense. Earlier, on March 9, Trade union committee of the EMG Management department allocated funds to provide volunteers with gloves and protective masks to participate in a similar campaign to collect dormant fish from Ural river.

In total, 52 tons of garbage and 4.3 tons of dormant fish were collected during a community cleanup on the river's coast. More than 2 600 thousand residents took part in the action. The promotion will last until May 31 of the year.
