A new leader in the Council of Young Specialists of Emba
On January 18, a reporting meeting of the Council of Young Specialists (further SYS) of “Embamunaygas” JSC (further EMG or Company) was held. During the meeting, Serik SHYGANOV, Chairman of the Council, Lead Personnel Training Engineer of Training and Development team of HR and Payroll Department of EMG, presented a report on the activities of the youth association for the period from 2013 to 2018, and presented the 2019 Measures Plan to the meeting attendees.
- Since the foundation of youth associations in the management and production structural units, young specialists of the Company have organized more than 35 charity, educational, mass cultural and sports events. Among them is helping the residents of Atyrau affected by flood precipitation in the spring of 2015, when young specialists of Emba spent several days-off helping families in despair. Funds collected with colleagues were used to pump water from the flooded yards of the residents, to purchase essential goods and products. In 2018, when assistance to the residents of the East Kazakhstan Oblast affected by flood, was provided by a large team of our Company, we worked together with the Youth Resource Centre of the Zyryanovsky District to identify the families most in need of housing. To recall, 3 houses and 4 apartments were purchased using funds raised by the Embinians”, - S. Shyganov noted during the presentation.
During the reporting meeting, new leader of EMG SYS was elected. Aigul ERTLEUOVA, Public Relations Specialist of the Company, was unanimously elected head of SYS to replace long-time leader S. Shyganov who headed the youth association for 5 years. As part of the agenda, members of the initiative group were determined, and key areas of SYS activities in 2019 were identified.

“Embamunaygas” JSC is affiliated company of “KazMunayGas Exploration Production” JSC. Officially, the foundation of “Embamunaygas” JSC start from 1922 - since the foundation of “Embaneft” Trust for development of the Dossor and Makat fields. The main company profiles are exploration, development of oil and gas fields; oil and gas production; oil and gas processing. “Embamunaygas” JSC consists of six operational structural units in Atyrau and four regional units in Atyrau Oblast: “Zhaiykmunaygas”, “Dossormunaygas”, “Kainarmunaygas”, “Zhylyoimunaygas”, “Embamunayenergo” company, and “Equipment technical maintenance and warehouse management”. Company supplies produced oil for export and domestic market. For the domestic market, oil is supplied to the oil processing plants in Kazakhstan. Oil is exported via two main routes: through the pipelines of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS). Sales gas is marketed through the gas and gas supply national operator of the RoK – “KazTransGas” JSC.
