New academic year for future oilmen
19 third-year students of the Atyrau University of Oil and Gas started dual training at production locations of “Embamunaygas” JSC (further EMG or Company). This year, trainees will be taught the basics of petroleum production at the chemical laboratory of CPF of Kenbay field, OGPC “Kainarmunaygas”, and Associated Petroleum Gas Processing Unit of Prorva group of fields in “Zhylyoimunaygas” OGPC.
- Since the start of the project, overall 93 students underwent dual training in trade jobs in EMG. Of them 37 students, who scored high in the final test, were employed in the Company. 43 students from the Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, APEC Petrotechnic high-level college, and Ufa State Oil Technical University are currently trained at the Company’s production locations together with the newly arrived interns” - Altynay BEREGENOVA, EMG Deputy Director of HR and Payroll said.
Let us recall that the pilot project on dual training of students was launched in August 2015. Training schedule structure is: 14 days – for theoretical training in an educational institution, 14 days – for practical training at production facilities. All costs for the dual system of training are covered by EMG: provision of students with workwear, accommodation, meals, transportation to production locations and back, as well as compensation payment.

“Embamunaygas” JSC is affiliated company of “KazMunayGas Exploration Production” JSC. Officially, the foundation of “Embamunaygas” JSC start from 1922 - since the foundation of “Embaneft” Trust for development of the Dossor and Makat fields. The main company profiles are exploration, development of oil and gas fields; oil and gas production; oil and gas processing. “Embamunaygas” JSC consists of six operational structural units in Atyrau and four regional units in Atyrau Oblast: “Zhaiykmunaygas”, “Dossormunaygas”, “Kainarmunaygas”, “Zhylyoimunaygas”, “Embamunayenergo” company, and “Equipment technical maintenance and warehouse management”. Company supplies produced oil for export and domestic market. For the domestic market, oil is supplied to the oil processing plants in Kazakhstan. Oil is exported via two main routes: through the pipelines of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS). Sales gas is marketed through the gas and gas supply national operator of the RoK – “KazTransGas” JSC. From October 1, 2012 to 11 months of 2018, “Embamunaygas” JSC paid over 873.4 billion tenge as taxes to the republican and local budgets; over 4.3 billion tenge were allocated for development of regional infrastructure. “Embamunaygas” JSC operates in compliance with international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 50001.
