Journalists and NGO representatives had introduced with visualization center and new technologies in oil production during the press-tour organized by “Embamunaygas” JSC (further EMG or Company).
EMG has organized a press-tour on the 20 of September for the journalists of republican, regional and local media. The event was participated by the representatives of non-governmental organizations.
Press-tour program consisted on two parts. During first half of a day, participants of press-tour has introduced with interactive museum of the Company and Visualization center of production processes.
- I’m glad to welcome you in our Company premises with over 95 years history. Although the history of Emba fields counts over 100 years. Hence, next year we will celebrate 120 years anniversary of the development of first well “Karashungul”. Same time, you will be able to see today what technologies are applied nowadays in operation, new standards are being implemented in HSE, costs are optimized, meanwhile, the social package of Emba employees remains the same, - noted the BoD Chairman, Anuar ZHAKSYBEKOV, during the excursion for participants of press-tour.
During the meeting with top management of the Company, media people and NGO representatives told about the EMG activity, about the initiatives in safety and environmental protection and implementation of social obligations of the Company (data in the reference note below).
During the second half of a day, press-tour participants visited “Zaburunie” field of the oil production company “Zhaiykmunaygas” in Issatay region of Atyrau oblast. A pilot project on polymer water flooding technology is applied in this area since 2014 which is dedicated to resolve the oil viscosity problem and enhancement of oil recovery factor. Last event of the tour was the visit to “Zapadnoe Novobogatinskoe” field where currently exploration drilling is ongoing. Tour participants were told about geological and exploration plans of the Company.

“Embamunaygas” JSC – affiliated company of the “E&P “KazMunayGas” JSC. Officially, the foundation of “Embamunaygas” JSC start from 1922 - since the foundation of “Embaneft” trust to develop Dossor and Makat fields.
