From 10 to 11 of July, the qualification competitions of 1^st group of the contest in 8 types of sports were held between the employees of the branch and related companies of Nainal Company “KazMunayGas” JSC in Kyzylorda.

Competitions were held simultaneously at three sport facilities: sport complex “Dynamo”, Ice Palace and sport complex “Seikhun”. “Embamunaygas” JSC (further EMG or Company) was represented by 45 employees who again demonstrated their sports skills.  

The following places were taken as a result of qualification round of the contests:

І place:

1. Mini football – EMG team;
2. Volleyball among women – EMG team;
3. Volleyball among man – EMG team;
4. Chess – 1 category geologist of EMG OGPC “Zhylyoimunaygas” research works – Bilimpaz KABDOLOV;

ІІ place:

1. Table tennis among women – oil production operator of Zapadnoe Kamyshitovoe field of EMG OGPC “Zhaiykmunaygas” – Tamara SABIROVA;
2. Togyz kumalak among women – EMG OGPC “Zhaiykmunaygas” employee – Ainur MENDIBAY;

ІІІ place:

1. Basketball – EMG male’s team;
2. Swimming – workover operator of EMG OGPC “Kainarmunaygas” – Ali BEKSEITOV;
3. Chess among women – 2 category chemical engineer of EMG OGPC “Zhayikmunaygas” – Akmaral USALIYEVA;
4. Arm wrestling among man (up to 85 kg) – workover operator of EMG OGPC “Zhayikmunaygas” - Berik KALESHEV;
5. Arm wrestling among man (above 85 kg) – locksmith of EMG OGPC “Zhylyoimunaygas” – Anuarbek DUISSEMALIYEV;
6. Togyz kumalak among man – employee of EMG technical maintenance and equipment repair department – Turar YESTEKOV;

Based on the rules of the qualification tournament, the winners who took I place, passed to final round of the sports contest of “NC “KMG” JSC which will be held in August this year in Astana.

Reference information: “Embamunaygas” JSC – affiliated company of the “E&P “KazMunayGas” JSC. Officially, the foundation of “Embamunaygas” JSC start from 1922 -  since the foundation of “Embaneft” trust to develop Dossor and Makat fields. Main activity of the company: geological exploration, development of oil and gas fields, oil and gas production, oil and gas processing. “Embamunaygas” JSC consists of 6 operational structural units in Atyrau and 4 regional units in Atyrau oblast: “Zhaikmunaygas”, “Dossormunaygas”, “Kainarmunaygas”, “Zhylyoimunaygas”, “Embamunayenergo” company and “Equipment technical maintenance and warehouse management”. Company supplies produced oil for export and to internal market. In the internal market, oil is supplied to oil processing plants in Kazakhstan. Export of oil is conducted via two main routes: along Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS) pipelines. Sales gas sale is performed through the RoK national operator in the sphere of gas and gas supplies – “KazTransGas” JSC. For the last five years, “Embamunaygas” JSC have paid to republican and local budgets around 696 billion of tenge, for sponsorship and charity – 2.3 billions of tenge, for the development of regional infrastructure 2.8 billion of tenge were allocated. “Embamunaygas” JSC performs its activity in accordance with the international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 50001.
