Ecologists of “Embamunaygas” JSC (further Company or EMG) were presented with corporate awards dedicated to International environment protection day (Ecologist’s day)
In the House of Culture after Kurmangazy in Atyrau the meeting was held dedicated to International environment protection day. The event was organized by the oblast natural resources and management enterprise in Atyrau oblast which was participated by head and representatives of regional state bodies, NGO, veterans.
- “Embamunaygas” Joint-Stock Company performs huge work on ensuring ecological safety at its contractual territories. In order to decrease releases into atmosphere as part of associated oil gas disposal program, three process units are installed and operated at operational base in Isatay, Makat and Zhylyoi regions. Thus, instead of flaring the gas at flare stacks, EMG sends this gas to people of three Atyrau oblast regions. Company performs systematic measures on processing of operational wastes and treatment of oil contaminated soil. As part of reclamation plan of historically oil contaminated soil, it is planned to perform the treatment of oily soil this year by means of bio remediation of more than 100K tons of soil, - noted in his speech during the meeting, the EMG BoD Chairman, Anuar ZHAKSYBEKOV.
For perfect work and contribution in to environment protection of the region, the group of EMG specialists was awarded with Honor Diploma and Letter of Gratitude from “National company KazMunayGas” JSC and “E&P “KazmunayGas” JSC. Honor diploma from “E&P “KazMunayGas” JSC were awarded by A. Zhaksybekov to EMG employees during the meeting – environmental protection department manager of OGPC “Zhylyoimunaygas” – Kazi Bisenov and 1 category environmental engineer – Gulbakhyt Daulenbayeva.

“Embamunaygas” JSC – affiliated company of the “E&P “KazMunayGas” JSC. Officially, the foundation of “Embamunaygas” JSC start from 1922 - since the foundation of “Embaneft” trust to develop Dossor and Makat fields. Main activity of the company: geological exploration, development of oil and gas fields, oil and gas production, oil and gas processing. “Embamunaygas” JSC consists of 6 operational structural units in Atyrau and 4 regional units in Atyrau oblast: “Zhaikmunaygas”, “Dossormunaygas”, “Kainarmunaygas”, “Zhylyoimunaygas”, “Embamunayenergo” company and “Equipment technical maintenance and warehouse management”. Company supplies produced oil for export and to internal market. In the internal market, oil is supplied to oil processing plants in Kazakhstan. Export of oil is conducted via two main routes: along Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS) pipelines. Sales gas sale is performed through the RoK national operator in the sphere of gas and gas supplies – “KazTransGas” JSC. “Embamunaygas” JSC performs its activity in accordance with the international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 50001.
