“Embamunaygas” JSC (further EMG or Company) has approved the Development Concept for next 10 years period
At the end of April, the EMG BoD has approved the Development Concept until 2027. This Concept defines a set of regulations and principles which EMG will be guided by when taking decisions on business development, development of program documents, forecast financial economic models (business plans), risk management systems, Company annual budget, investment projects, etc.
- Previous strategy “Renaissance” has envisaged the vision of Company development in production and reserves until 2037, and until 2019 by economic indicators. Due to changes in hydrocarbons market, the liability for the destiny of many thousands personnel and objectives set forth by the Company, has risen the necessity to accept program document for the next 10 years – as noted earlier during by the EMG BoD Chairman, Anuar ZHAKSYBEKOV, during the discussion of new concept.
According to the new Development Concept, EMG mission is defined as follows: “We produce oil and gas in order to ensure stability for Company employees and efficiency for shareholder by balancing social and business interests”.

Besides main sections the following is also reflected as part of the Concept: Company ambitions on future development, strategic priorities of the Company when taking decisions, existing advantages and restrictions of the Company, investment and dividends policy, EMG plans on forming long-term resources base, acquisition of new assets and enhancement of production at the existing fields, development of gas business, operational infrastructure and oil services. Program document has also encompassed approved functional HSE, HR, production automation strategies and Concept execution risks with different development scenarios.

“Embamunaygas” JSC – affiliated company of the “E&P “KazMunayGas” JSC. Officially, the foundation of “Embamunaygas” JSC start from 1922 - since the foundation of “Embaneft” trust to develop Dossor and Makat fields. Main activity of the company: geological exploration, development of oil and gas fields, oil and gas production, oil and gas processing. “Embamunaygas” JSC consists of 6 operational structural units in Atyrau and 4 regional units in Atyrau oblast: “Zhaikmunaygas”, “Dossormunaygas”, “Kainarmunaygas”, “Zhylyoimunaygas”, “Embamunayenergo” company and “Equipment technical maintenance and warehouse management”. Company supplies produced oil for export and to internal market. In the internal market, oil is supplied to oil processing plants in Kazakhstan. Export of oil is conducted via two main routes: along Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS) pipelines. Sales gas sale is performed through the RoK national operator in the sphere of gas and gas supplies – “KazTransGas” JSC. “Embamunaygas” JSC performs its activity in accordance with the international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 50001.
