The team of Embamunaygas JSC (hereinafter EMG or Company) provided charity support to the residents of East Kazakhstan region (hereinafter EKR), affected by the spring floods
On May 15, 2018, the Chairman of the Board of Embamunaygas JSC Anuar Zhaksybekov presented on behalf of a large team of the company keys to new house to 7 families of Zyryanovsk district of East Kazakhstan region.
The Chairman of the Board of EMG A.Ye. Dzhaksybekov, Deputy Chairman of the business development Board B. K. Balzhanov, EMG Managing Director on social policy S. Zh. Nakpayev and Akim of Ziryan district of East Kazakhstan region N. T. Tokseitov participated in the ceremony of transfer of keys to the residents of Zyryanovsk district of East Kazakhstan region.
“Emba oilmen have always been famous for their hard work, civil responsibility and strong traditions of providing assistance to socially vulnerable groups of the population. Therefore, when in March of this year, an appeal was received from the Akimat of Atyrau region to provide support to the residents of East Kazakhstan region, victims of flood precipitation, the oilmen unanimously decided to allocate funds from their wages for assistance. Now, thanks to the funds collected by the Emba oilmen, 7 affected families from suburban settlements and the outskirts of the city were moved to the district center – Zyryanovsk, to dry and warm apartments and houses,” the Chairman of the Board of EMG Anuar ZHAKSYBEKOV said during the ceremony of transfer of housing in the Zyryanovsk district Akimat.
During the voluntary fund-raising announced by the Company, the total amount transferred by the Emba oilmen to the affected Kazakhstan people amounted to about 12 million tenge. These funds transferred to the Our city - Zyryanovsk charity fund were used to purchase four apartments and three houses for residents of Maleevsk, Zubovsk and the outskirts of Zyryanovsk, whose houses were flooded and cannot be restorated.
Also, during the ceremony, the leadership of EMG on behalf of the workers handed new TVs the residents of the district.
EMG's team succours people affected by natural disasters not for the first time. In 2015-2016, the company's employees organized a fund-raising and transferred a one-day income to assist the residents of Atyrau and its suburbs, whose houses were in an emergency condition as a result of spring rains. The list of affected families was provided by the Akimat of Atyrau region. Using money raised by Emba oilmen, 4 houses for citizens who have children with disabilities were repaired in 2015, and a new house instead of damaged one was built for a lone pensioner. In 2016, a new house was built for a resident of Atyrau. In a family of four children, two suffer from serious diseases.
Over the past five years, Embamunaygas JSC has allocated about 696 billion tenge to pay taxes to the national and local budgets, to sponsorship and charity – 2.3 billion tenge, to the development of regional infrastructure – about 2.8 billion tenge. The funds allocated by the Company within the framework of subsoil use contracts were used to build and overhaul social facilities in Atyrau region, where the production units of Embamunaygas are based: kindergartens, cultural centers, sports and health facilities, schools, houses for public sector employees, etc.

Officially, the foundation of “Embamunaygas” JSC start from 1922 - since the foundation of “Embaneft” trust to develop Dossor and Makat fields.
