“Embamunaygas” JSC (further – EMG or Company) has held a number of events dedicated to the 73rd anniversary of the World War Victory
On the 3rd of May, the top management of the Company has visited and congratulated seven World War veterans at their houses who have spent many years working at EMG. All veterans were awarded with 200 000 KZT each and festive food baskets.
On the following day of May 4th, Company as per tradition has organized ceremonial event for the war veterans, rear workers and foreign war veterans at the “Sorrow mother” memorial close to EMG office.
- Thousands of Emba oilmen have volunteered to fight during first days of war. Those who left to work at oilfields have gone through hard times working at the rear front. Emba oilmen during the war replaced lost and destroyed during the war oilfields in Ukraine and Caucasus. Special “front” crews formed during those days have worked 13-14 hours a day, heroically producing black gold for the needs of the front. Produced Emba oil was so light and transparent that it was filled in the tanks without processing. 80% of all lubricants produced during the war in USSR were processed from Emba oil. Emba people revere the memory of died soldiers – oilmen, admire the labor feats of oilfield workers during the war and take care of war and rear veterans who contributed their efforts to our enterprise – noted in his welcome speech during the ceremony the EMG BoD Deputy Chairman, Aibolat GABDULLIN.
During the ceremony, the company staff and management together with invited participants of the event have laid flowers at “Sorrow mother” memorial in the memory of died soldiers. Them the event continued with festive concerts with festive lunch in the House of Culture after D. Nurpeisova.
9 of May – EMG central department staffs and operational units – “Embamunayenergo” management and MTO will participate in municipal ceremony of laying flowers at “Eternal flame” memorial in the central Victory Park.

“Embamunaygas” JSC – affiliated company of the “E&P “KazMunayGas” JSC. Officially, the foundation of “Embamunaygas” JSC start from 1922 - since the foundation of “Embaneft” trust to develop Dossor and Makat fields. Main activity of the company: geological exploration, development of oil and gas fields, oil and gas production, oil and gas processing. “Embamunaygas” JSC consists of 6 operational structural units in Atyrau and 4 regional units in Atyrau oblast: “Zhaikmunaygas”, “Dossormunaygas”, “Kainarmunaygas”, “Zhylyoimunaygas”, “Embamunayenergo” company and “Equipment technical maintenance and warehouse management”. Company supplies produced oil for export and to internal market. In the internal market, oil is supplied to oil processing plants in Kazakhstan. Export of oil is conducted via two main routes: along Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS) pipelines.
