In «Embamunaygas» JSC (hereinafter EMG or the Company) a reporting meeting of the Chairman of the Board with the team on the results of 2017 and the first quarter of 2018 was held
The reporting meeting was attended by top management of the Company, management staff and employees of the departments of the administrative staff (hereinafter referred to as AS) and production units (hereinafter referred to as PUs), heads of trade Union committees of PU and the Company.
According to the EMG Chairman of the Board Anuar ZHAKSYBEKOV, in 2017 EMG produced 2 million 840 thousand tons of oil, the oil delivery plan is completed in the amount of 2 million 806 thousand tons. According to the results of the first quarter of 2018, planned indicators are achieved under the plan of oil production and delivery.
“The main factor of successful activity of the Company is the industrial safety! We have already stated that this issue is a priority. For the Company life and health of the worker is above production indicators and safety issues is not just problem of Safety Engineers, but each employee, beginning from maintenance technical staff, and finishing with the first head,” the head of EMG noted in the report.
In the report, the results of production activities for 2017 and for the first quarter of this year were announced, all directions of production activities for each PU and the AS department were considered in detail, problems and ways of their solution were announced, specific instructions were given to the supervising heads on each issue.
“Today EMG provides its employees with all the opportunities for professional development and ensures competitive wages and a significant social package. In 2017, about 5 thousand employees of the company passed mandatory courses, training and retraining in trades - 974 employees, advanced training - 478 employees. As part of the social support of oilmen of certain professions (associated with heavy physical labor), in 2017, changes were made to the existing rules of early retirement, according to which workers have an opportunity of early dismissal since the age of 58 with the payment of a monthly allowance of 48% -50% of the official salary for up to 5 years. Regarding the social package, in 2017, according to the Collective agreement adopted for the period of 2017-2021, the Company has fulfilled its obligations to its employees for a total amount of more than 3.9 billion tenge.
This includes payments for health improvement to annual leave, lump-sum payments for the birth of a child, access to a well-earned rest, payments for pregnancy and childbirth, health insurance for employees and their families, parents' expenses for children's rest in recreation camps, various types of support for pensioners of the company and much more,” A. Zhaksybekov said.
In accordance with the contractual obligations, the Company participates in the development of infrastructure of Atyrau region. Funds are annually transferred in the regional budget for this purpose. In 2017, about 755 million tenge was transferred to finance social projects: the construction of secondary schools, kindergartens, cultural centers, sports and recreation centers, medical and obstetric centers and etc.

During the reporting meeting with the staff, the awarding by the results of "I am Emba worker!" corporate contest was held and proposals from employees were heard.
