First forum of housing committee – delegates from accommodation camps and dormitories of EMG was held in “Embamunaygas” JSC (further EMG or Company)
The forum of EMG housing committee delegates was held in the assembly hall of the Company for the first time. Forum was attended by over 50 EMG employees and trade union leaders – delegates from accommodation camps and dormitories of the operational structural units of the Company.
- Presently, decent housing conditions for the employees’ residence and meals are provided at EMG fields. However, the time is running. As one of the national oil and gas leaders which actively implement new technologies in operations and invest significant funds in to employee’s development, Company now sets a new objective – to significantly improve social conditions for Emba oil workers – said in his welcome speech the managing director on social policy, Salimzhan NAKPAYEV.
During the forum, participants have familiarised with several presentations. The director of the infrastructure facilities and services management department, S. KUMISKALIYEV, has presented an analysis of social infrastructures condition in EMG oil production enterprises and social improvements plan for oil workers. Particularly, a pilot project was presented on transfer of services to outsourcing to single-source contractor at Kenbai field. The advantages of this approach: abstractness from the company operational activity, experience of leading companies in oil and gas sector, company cost and resources optimization, consolidation of minor contracts in to one and reduction of chain of tender procedures, etc.
The presentation of the social issues specialist of infrastructure and services management department, Almas ZHUMALIYEV, has raised a huge interest from the forum participants. Narrator has made a detailed presentation on worldwide norms and requirements accepted in Kazakhstan to organization of meals and food processing unit, has presented an analysis of existing meals provision model, and told on proposed mechanisms of its improvement.
At the completion of presentations, there were many questions raised to the speakers on mentioned subjects to which the answers were given. To ensure operational monitoring over the quality of meals and social maintenance, employees were given the contact numbers of the specialists of infrastructure and services department.

“Embamunaygas” JSC – affiliated company of the “E&P “KazMunayGas” JSC. Officially, the foundation of “Embamunaygas” JSC start from 1922 - since the foundation of “Embaneft” trust to develop Dossor and Makat fields. Main activity of the company: geological exploration, development of oil and gas fields, oil and gas production, oil and gas processing. “Embamunaygas” JSC contains 6 operational structural units in Atyrau and 4 regional units in Atyrau oblast: “Zhaikmunaigas”, “Dossormunaygas”, “Kainarmunaygas”, “Zhylyoimunaygas”, “Embamunayenergo” company and “Equipment technical maintenance and warehouse management”. Company supplies produced oil for export and to internal market. In the internal market, oil is supplied to oil processing plants in Kazakhstan.
