Atyrau
One of the actual processes for any oil company is an accurate accounting of oilfield and other necessary equipment in its own warehouses. Within the framework of "Embamunaigas" JSC (hereinafter EMG or company) large-scale work on optimization of business processes, the company implements the program SAP MDG (Master Data Management System). Recently the head office of EMG was visited by the delegation of employees of "Kazgermunai" LLP JV. The purpose of the visit is to adopt the experience of EMG workers on effective inventory management.
Large-scale work on stock accounting and normalization of normative and reference information (hereinafter NRI) started in "Embamunaigas" in 2016 and became a logical continuation of the project on optimization of logistics, which began in 2015 according the initiative of NC KazMunaiGas JSC.
As a part of this project, the experience of a number of major Russian oil and gas operators such as Gazprom, Lukoil, Tatneft and others was studied and analyzed, where the implementation of such projects allowed to increase the efficiency of business processes, optimize costs and increase the cost of companies.
For several years, the staff of the Department of Logistics of EMG, together with the employees of the production and structural units have done a great job in eliminating errors, inaccuracies and incomplete data, repetitive records, supplementing the missing information and bringing it into a single format by creating templates for each type of inventory (hereinafter inventory).
In total it was developed more than 1 thousand templates and normalized about 4 thousand inventory records. In this large-scale work a large group of employees of the management and production departments took part. In particular, the specialist of the Social Security Department of OGPD "Zhaikmunaigaz" Aigul Shakmanova, deputy head of the Social Security department of OGPD "Zhylyoymunaigaz" Raya Saparova, the drilling engineer of the CCS OGPD "Kaynarmunaigaz" Talgat Tursiev, Mechanic on transport of a column of special equipment and motor transport of OGPD "Zhaiykmunaigaz" Aykhan Sagingaliev and others.
Now the volumetric work of EMG workers, developed templates, will be applied in all subsidiaries and dependent companies of "Exploration production" KazMunayGas " JSC.
The employees of "Kazgermunai" LLP JV, who arrived to study the experience of Emba, acquainted with interest with developed mechanisms on creation of templates and the concept of introduction of unified control systems of master-data where the templates are fundamental elements for beginning the start of data loading into the SAP MDG system, which is the ultimate goal of the project. -I work in "Kazgermunai"LLP since 2003, by education I am a geologist, graduated Moscow Institute of Oil and Gas named after Gubkin, worked for many years as the head of the Department of Geology, but because of health condition I changed the profession. Now working in the Logistics Department, I understand more about the need to change the system to ensure the production process of oil and fully support the initiative of the leadership on the need to implement a "single reference system of Accounting Material values ". I am sure that introduced system will improve the work on the identification of the balances in the company's warehouses.

-I was impressed by the possibilities of the SAP system which is a multifunctional and automated enterprise management system, that allows manage business processes of the company effectively. It's easy to work with it, all the information is transparent. As for the reserves, when requested, the system immediately issues information about its availability in a particular warehouse. This is not the first visit to "Embamunaigas". You have a good office building, but most of all I was impressed by the modern interactive Museum of "Embamunaigas"JSC. I have never seen such before anywhere else.

-SAP is a good tool for inventory accounting. Sometimes it happens that the same product can be written under different names. Bringing them into the uniform description format by characteristics, capabilities and other parameters will allow to get single name of the goods, thus to reduce unnecessary expenses. I'm not for the first time in your company either. One of the visits was to OGPD "Zhaiykmunaigaz", where on the field named after S. Balgimbaev was presented application of LRP-linear mechanized system of rod pumps, which has inertia design, maintains effective working tact, provides the same or better performance at lower costs. Now we have installed and applied two such plants on the fields of "Kazgermunai" LLP JV.

The official countdown of the history of "Embamunaigas" JSC is carried out since 1922, from the moment of creation of the trust "embaneft" for development of deposits Dossor and Makat. The main directions of the company's activity: exploration, development of oil and gas fields; oil and gas production; preparation of oil and gas. The structure of "Embamunaigas" JSC includes 6 production divisions in Atyrau and 4 in districts of Atyrau Oblast: "Zhaiykmunaigaz", "Dossormunaigaz", "Kaynarmunaigaz", "Zhylyoymunaigaz", "Embamunaienergo" and "Management of production-technical service and Completion of equipment" (MPTS and CE). The company supplies extracted oil for export and domestic market. On the domestic market oil is supplied to refineries of RK. For export oil is delivered on two main routes: Pipelines of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS). Sale of commercial gas is carried out through the national operator of the RK in the field of gas and supply "Kaztransgas" JSC . For the last four years, "Embamunaigas"JSC in the form of taxes to the Republican and local budgets the has recounted more than 625 bln. tenge, which of about 81 bln. in 2016 "Embamunaigas"JSC carries out its activity in accordance with international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 50001.
