«Embamunaygas» JSC (hereinafter - EMG or Company) has opened access to the interactive museum
On February 7, in the head office of EMG excursions to the interactive Museum started for students of higher education institutions of Atyrau.
The first visitors of the museum were students of Nazarbayev intellectual school.
“The interactive museum presents the history of the oil and gas industry of the country, which is the main Kazakhstan economy. Of course, the central place is Emba, with which the chronicle of the domestic oil industry began. Here the first working class was formed. Emba oilmen made a significant contribution to the Victory during the Great Patriotic War, and in the postwar years, they worked tirelessly, raising the country after the devastation. To the current generation know and remember about labor heroism of Emba workers, the Chairman of the Board of the Company, Anuar Yerkinovich Zhaksybekov decided that the first visitors of the museum will be pupils and students,” Managing Director on the social policy of «Embamunaigas» JSC, Salimzhan NAKPAYEV said.
“In the museum, we have received reliable information about the development of the oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan. In my family, many members work in the oil and gas sector. And after visiting the museum, I also had a desire to contribute to the development of this industry,” a pupil, ASEM TOREGALIYEVA said.
- In "Intro", "First opening", "Time technology", "Great Patriotic War" and "Media centre" we saw valuable historical materials,” the 10th form pupil, Daniyar DZHAKSENOV noted.
Soon a visit of students of the Lyceum named after Zh. Dosmukhambetov, Apec Petrotechnic College, Atyrau University of oil and gas, Atyrau state University named Hk. Dosmukhamedov, Atyrau Process College, Precaspian Modern College, College of business and law, Medical and agro-technical College to the Museum is scheduled. Later, the museum will be opened to the public according to the schedule of visits, which will be posted on the company's corporate website: www.emba.kz.

«Embamunaigas» JSC is a subsidiary of KazMunaiGas Exploration Production JSC. The official history of «Embamunaigas» JSC starts since 1922 – since the creation of Embaneft Group for the development of Dossor and Makat fields.
