Новый учебный год по дуальной системе в АО «Эмбамунайгаз»: теперь и химики-технологи

For the fourth consecutive year, «Embamunaigas» JSC cooperates with Atyrau University of oil and gas and APEC PetroTechnic Higher College on dual training of students. In this year, at the production sites of the Company the training of 24 students began, including 4 on the basis of associated petroleum gas treatment plant at the Prorva cluster of fields in Zhylyoimunaigas Field Office.

Associated petroleum gas treatment plant at the Prorva cluster of fields (further – Plant) was launched in June last year. Currently, commercial gas from the Plant is supplied to Central Asia – Center main gas pipeline, thereby significantly reducing the forced combustion of associated petroleum gas on the flares of the Prorva cluster of fields. Similar Plants successfully operate at the company's fields – Vostochny Makat and S. Balgimbayev from 2012-2013, supplying natural gas at a reduced price to the population of three districts of Atyrau region.

Four guys who started internship on the basis of Pant at the beginning of the year are students of the 3rd course of Atyrau University of oil and gas with major in Chemical technology of organic substances. During 10 months, students will gain practical skills in the of the gas treatment and sulfur recovery workshop of the Plant at the Prorva cluster of fields by rotation method.

 “I'm glad to have a rare opportunity to combine the theoretical education at the University with practice at live production,” Intern Asel SHYMERKHANOVA says. “Another positive aspect is financial, because for every shift I get a special payment. Now I can help my mother. I like that the life is well organized here; there is an opportunity for training and self-development”.

In the framework of the Project «Embamunaigas» JSC fully covers the cost of tuition, meals, accommodation, special clothing and compensation to interns. According to the training schedule, students attends their schools during14 days in a month, during remaining 14 days, they master practical skills at workplace.

 “For me as a future Chemist-Process Specialist, it is important to get acquainted with the current modern gas treatment process in practice about which I previously knew in theory only. I liked that here the safety is the first issue. During the first days, we passed instructions on occupational, industrial and fire safety, and personal protective equipment was issued for us. I will make every effort and try to get maximum knowledge during training,” Yernar URASHEV told.

According to Tursyngul ZHANTLEUOVA, from school days, she was engaged in scientific work, was the winner of various competitions in Chemistry.

“I think that the practice at the existing gas processing and sulfur recovery plant will provide many opportunities for my further development,” the girl said.

Yerbolat MURZAGALIYEV found out about the Dual Training Project in «Embamunaigas» JSC in September 2016:

 “I saw an interview Anuar Yerkinovich Zhaksybekov (Chairman of the Board – author’s note), in which he talked about the dual training system. I was interested in the fact that the students of this system spent up to 40% of their studies at workplace and I was sorry that the students of our specialty were not included in these lists. I would like to thank «Embamunaigas» JSC that now Chemists-Process Specialists also have the opportunity to study under this wonderful system.”

From 2015 to 2017, 69 students were trained who received employment books with a record of jobs in the oil industry after graduation, together with the diplomas. 16 of them were employed by the company.
