Digital system improves quality

Recently, the Renaissance hotel hosted a conference dedicated to digitalization issues in oil and gas industry organized by the RoK Ministry of Energy in conjunction with «PROFIT Online» LLP and «Kaspersky» company. 

The Deputy Director of production automation and IT department of “Embamunaygas” JSC, Serik Sagynbekov, have introduced the coference participants with the “Inteligent field” concept and told about project details which was successfully implemented at Uaz field. 

- Due to implementation of the concept, the power consumption has reduced by 30%, significantly reduced well workover duration that allowed maintaining the daily production performances. In 2017 this project was launched at Prorva field of OGPC “Zhylyoimunaygas”, and in 2018 at Zhanalap field of OGPC “Zhaiykmunaygas”. This project will be implemented at 12 field of EMG until 2024, - noted in his speech, S. SAGYNBEKOV.

“Intelligent field” project is included into state program “Digital Kazakhstan”. Purpose of the “Intelligent field” project is:

• Automation of business processes and further generalization of information provided to operational control center of production processes of the company in real time mode for monitoring, analysis and taking operational decisions on optimization of oil produciton and other associated business processes. 
• In mature projects – supporting management decisions applied to highly water-cut fields at final development stages in accordance with profitability objectives, oil transfer and delay of total preparation period.
