In “Embamunaygas” JSC (hereinafter EMG or Company), memory of every oilman soldier is cherished and veterans, homefront workers and internationalist soldiers - employees of the Company are taken care of. On the eve of the Victory Day, the Emba leadership team visited veterans of the Great Patriotic War (hereinafter GPW), who fulfilled the military duty to the Motherland and justly retired after many years of dedicated work in EMG.
The GPW veteran, Nikolay Slavov, turned 98 this year. Nikolay met the war at the age of 20 in Western Ukraine, where Red Army soldiers served an aerodrome under construction. After being seriously injured, Slavov had the opportunity to guard the aerodromes of Astrakhan and Stalingrad, supervise the pier construction process on Sheksna River in Vologda, and after competing electrician courses, participate in construction of oil refinery in the far away Caspian town of Guryev. Nikolay Nikolayevich justly retired from the production structural unit of EMG – “Embamunayenergo”.
- Owing to your courage and heroism, each of us today has the opportunity to live and work in our native land, raise children and make plans for the future. On behalf of the entire team of the company, I sincerely thank you for the Victory and wish you health and a long life! - Chairman of the Board of EMG Anuar ZHAKSYBEKOV warmly congratulated the veteran.
N. Slavov, together with his wife Lyudmila Petrovna, thanked the management of EMG for their constant attention and social support, and the veteran voiced the main message to the young people - no one else should experience war and the losses and deprivations associated with it!
Ahead of the significant date, the Company’s leadership team visited the war veterans - Taiyr GUMAROV, Turash KOPTLEUOV, Kurmanbay DOSSUMBETULY and Kulyan SABRALIYEVA.
Fruit baskets and money in the amount of 200 thousand tenge were presented to each veteran.

“Embamunaygas” JSC is affiliated company of “KazMunayGas Exploration Production” JSC. Officially, the foundation of “Embamunaygas” JSC start from 1922 - since the foundation of “Embaneft” Trust for development of the Dossor and Makat fields. The main company profiles are exploration, development of oil and gas fields; oil and gas production; oil and gas processing. “Embamunaygas” JSC consists of six operational structural units in Atyrau and four regional units in Atyrau Oblast: “Zhaiykmunaygas”, “Dossormunaygas”, “Kainarmunaygas”, “Zhylyoimunaygas”, “Embamunayenergo” company, and “Equipment technical maintenance and warehouse management”. Company supplies produced oil for export and domestic market. For the domestic market, oil is supplied to the oil processing plants in Kazakhstan. Oil is exported via two main routes: through the pipelines of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS). Sales gas is marketed through the gas and gas supply national operator of the RoK – “KazTransGas” JSC.
Starting October 1, 2012 to 2018, Embamunaygas JSC sent over 897 billion tenge for the payment of taxes to the republican and local budgets, more than 4.3 billion tenge was allocated for the development of regional infrastructure.
