АО «EmbaMunayGas» (hereinafter EMG or Company) had a regular Strategic session on discussion of status of projects implementation within the accepted Concept of Company development through Y2027 (hereinafter Concept).
The Concept discussion took place under the sign of one of EMG significance - «We get the job done». The Company top management and key employees participated in two-day work of strategic session.
- The target of the session is to update the projects within the accepted Concept with the last changes in parent companies and economic climate in country and world, as well as discussion of problematic issues to be considered by the Company Management for current time and ways of their solution, - mentioned Anuar ZHAKSYBEKOV, the Chair of EMG BOARD during greeting speech.
The Concept view was performed in the first day on each direction and project with analysis of external and internal environment, and the functional strategies were viewed in detail - on Protection of labor and environment (HSE), Staff development (HR) and Industrial Automation development (IT). The finance-and-economic model of the Company development was analyzed as well with changes of external factors and the management system of risk and process was viewed in detail. The current risks and status of implementation of strategic projects portfolio were discussed during the last discussion.
Large distribution into motivational energy made by communication with Marat Zhylanbayev, the Kazakhstani marathon runner, the septuply record-breaker of Guinness Book of World Records. The main message of his speech – never give up in any circumstances, but move to desired goal vigorously!
At the second day of strategic target, EMG top management participated in the seminar «Project Management» and made results of Concept discussion.
It is a reminder that the Concept was approved on April the 24th, Y2018 by the Company Director’s Board for 10 years. The Plan of measures on Concept implementation was developed and approved. The central offices and all TAP (ПСП) of EMG made the measures on explanation of approved Concept. The control points of strategic projects entered in Managing Directors efficiencies – Managers of projects on coordinating directions.

“Embamunaygas” JSC – affiliated company of the “E&P “KazMunayGas” JSC. Officially, the foundation of “Embamunaygas” JSC start from 1922 - since the foundation of “Embaneft” trust to develop Dossor and Makat fields. Main activity of the company: geological exploration, development of oil and gas fields, oil and gas production, oil and gas processing. “Embamunaygas” JSC consists of 6 operational structural units in Atyrau and 4 regional units in Atyrau oblast: “Zhaikmunaygas”, “Dossormunaygas”, “Kainarmunaygas”, “Zhylyoimunaygas”, “Embamunayenergo” company and “Equipment technical maintenance and warehouse management”. Company supplies produced oil for export and to internal market. In the internal market, oil is supplied to oil processing plants in Kazakhstan. Export of oil is conducted via two main routes: along Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS) pipelines. Sales gas sale is performed through the RoK national operator in the sphere of gas and gas supplies – “KazTransGas” JSC. For the last five years, “Embamunaygas” JSC have paid to republican and local budgets around 833 billion of tenge, for the development of regional infrastructure 4,3 billion of tenge were allocated. “Embamunaygas” JSC performs its activity in accordance with the international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 50001.
