The sport contest of “NC “KazMunayGas” JSC held on the 26-29 of August this year in Astana has become a professional holiday for oil and gas industry workers of Kazakhstan. As was noted earlier, this is a final stage.
The Deputy Director of “NC «KazMunayGas” JSC, Dauren KARABAYEV, who participated in ceremonial opening of the contest, has wished a good luck to over 300 employees-contestants from more than 30 companies. Competitions, which are organized for the third year in a row, have united the best sportsmen in 8 types of sport (mini-football, basketball, volleyball, swimming, arm-wrestling, togyz-kumalak, chess and table tennis). The reason for it was that the qualification stage was conducted earlier and winners have tried their luck in the final.
It is necessary to note that we were glad to announce the qualification for final round for best footballers, volleyball players among man and woman, chess players who qualified to the final recently in Kyzylorda.
Competitions in Astana identified the best of the best. There were no weak players. And the confirmation to it was three days contest.
Male team of “Embamunaygas” JSC has participated in volleyball competition. And our erudite man, Kabdolov, has represented Emba in chess contest.

After three days contest, Emba contesters have won three bronzes. Female volleyball team from “Mangystaumunaygas” JSC has contested for the third place but lost to only to teams from Atyrau oil processing plant and “Ozenmunaygas” JSC.
As for mini-football, the III place winner was determined after penalty series. Full-time was finished with 2:2 score. I place was taken by the team from “Ozenservicecompany”, and second by the team from “KazakhOil Aktobe”.
Emba oil people received their cups, diplomas, medals from the professional boxer, Beibit Shumenov.
