The sport contest has taken place from 16 to 17 of August 2018 in the sport complex “Atyrau” among the employees of operational units (further OU) of “Embamunygas” JSC (further EMG or Company) dedicated to the Oil & gas worker’s day and 50th anniversary of the field after Slatanat Balgimbayev.
Official ceremony of tournament opening started with the welcome speech of EMG Director.
- For our Company with its huge history, together with operational safety, is the taking care of the health and life quality of oil people. All our employees together with their families are provided with medical insurance, all fields are provided with sport facilities. Therefore, it was decided to start a number of events dedicated to festive period, i.e. with sport events, - noted in his speech to participants of the contest, EMG BoD Chairman, Anuar Zhaksybekov.
During two-days football tournament, more than 70 employees from 8 teams of operational units and management participated. During honest and hot-tempered battle, the winners were – first place by management team, second place by OGPC “Kainarmunaygas” and third place by «EMG-EP Catering» team. On behalf of “Embamunaygas” JSC, the winners were awarded with sport medals and cup. Then, for demonstrating good skills, the following employees were awarded: Serik Bisekenov from OGPC “Dossormunaygas” team – “best goalkeeper”, Yernazar Tabylzhdiyev from «EMG-EP Catering» team -«Best forward»; Batyrbek Zhunusov from UPTO team – “Best midfielder”; Nurbek Ischanov from EMG management – “Best defender”; Aigul Kakimova from OGPC “Zhylyoimunaygas” as “Best coach”.
Also, on the 17 of August, a billiard tournament was held in “Infiniti” club where 16 EMG representatives have demonstrated their art. The first place was taken by Zholdas Iliyasov – management, second place by Talgat Abilov also from management, third place by Nurkuat Nauryzgaliyev from UPTO team. The game of Amantay Dyussegaliyev was recognized in the nomination “Oldest player”, Baurzhan Yerekeshev in the nomination “Will for victory”, Kadyr Abuov in the nomination “Fastest set”.
The sport contest has traditionally finished with family race “Altyn Uiya”. All oil people with their families have attended the race consisted of 10 different stages. The best results in this competition were achieved by the Salimov’s family from OGPC “Dossormunaygas”, II place was taken by Yeskaziyev’s family and III place by Suesinov’s family from management team. Winners were awarded with diploma, cups and medals. An all children have received promotional prizes.

“Embamunaygas” JSC – affiliated company of the “E&P “KazMunayGas” JSC. Officially, the foundation of “Embamunaygas” JSC start from 1922 - since the foundation of “Embaneft” trust to develop Dossor and Makat fields. Main activity of the company: geological exploration, development of oil and gas fields, oil and gas production, oil and gas processing. “Embamunaygas” JSC consists of 6 operational structural units in Atyrau and 4 regional units in Atyrau oblast: “Zhaikmunaygas”, “Dossormunaygas”, “Kainarmunaygas”, “Zhylyoimunaygas”, “Embamunayenergo” company and “Equipment technical maintenance and warehouse management”. For the last five years, “Embamunaygas” JSC have paid to republican and local budgets around 696 billion of tenge, for sponsorship and charity – 2.3 billions of tenge, for the development of regional infrastructure 2.8 billion of tenge were allocated. “Embamunaygas” JSC performs its activity in accordance with the international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 50001.
