On February 14, “Embamunaigas” JSC (hereinafter referred to as EMG or the Company) established a production Council on the mutual initiative of the employer and employees represented by the company's trade Union Committee. During the first meeting, the Council was elected and organizational issues were discussed.
- The production Council at “Embamunaigas” JSC was established as part of the company's commitment to the value of ensuring safety for the life and health of employees and compliance with the requirements of the Labor code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Council's activities will be aimed at improving the safety of oil workers, strengthening the role of public control over working conditions and preventing industrial injuries, - said Malik Uringaliev, Chairman of the trade Union Committee of “Embamunaigas” JSC, during the first meeting.
During the first meeting, the composition of the Council was approved and proposals for 148 technical inspectors were considered. The EMG trade Union Committee proposed a candidate for the position of Chairman of the production Board of EMG Kasymgaliev Kanatbek Makhmudovich, who was unanimously supported by the members of the Board. The next meeting will consider the regulations on the Council's activities, the status of technical inspectors, and other organizational issues.

“Embamunaigas” JSC is a subsidiary of KazMunaiGas national Company JSC. The official history of “Embamunaigas” JSC has been counted since 1922 – since the creation of the “Embaneft” trust for the development of the Dossor and Makat fields. The main activities of the company: geological exploration, development of oil and gas fields; oil and gas production; oil and gas preparation. “Embamunaigas” JSC consists of 6 production divisions in Atyrau and 4 in the districts of Atyrau region: "Zhaiykmunaigas", "Dossormunaigas", "Kainarmunaigas", "Zhylyoymunaigas", "Embamunaienergo" management and "Management of production and maintenance services and equipment configuration". The company supplies the extracted oil for export and the domestic market. On the domestic market, oil is delivered to refineries in Kazakhstan. Oil is exported via two main routes: the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen – Atyrau - Samara (UAS) pipelines. The sale of commercial gas is carried out through the national operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of gas and gas supply – “KazTransGas” JSC. From October 1, 2012 to 2019, “Embamunaigas” JSC allocated more than 1 trillion tenge for the payment of taxes to the national and local budgets, and more than 4.3 billion tenge was allocated for the development of regional infrastructure. “Embamunaigas” JSC operates in accordance with international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 50001.
