Embamunaygas JSC is a subsidiary of KazMunaiGas Exploration Production JSC. The official history of Embamunaygas JSC starts since 1922 – since the creation of Embaneft Group for the development of Dossor and Makat fields. The main activities of the company: geological exploration, development of oil and gas fields; oil and gas production; oil and gas treatment.
Embamunaigas JSC consists of 6 production divisions in Atyrau and 4 ones in Atyrau region: Zhayikmunaygas, DossorMunayGas, Kainarmunaygas, Zhylyoimunaygas, Embamunaygas Management and Management of the production maintenance and equipment procurement.
The Company exports oil and sells it on the domestic market. On the domestic market, oil is supplied via RoK refineries. Oil is exported via two main ways: Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS) pipelines. The gas is sold through the national operator of Kazakhstan in the field of gas and gas supply - KazTransGas JSC.
Since its transformation into a joint stock company in 2012 to the present day, the Company has paid 654 billion tenge in the form of taxes to the national and local budget, allocated about 2.3 billion tenge - for the development of regional infrastructure and more than 2 billion tenge - for sponsorship and charity. Embamunaygas JSC carries out its activities in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 50001 international standards.
