On the 22-23.10.2018, “Embamunaygas” JSC (further EMG or Company) received Directors and Representatives of National companies responsible for IT sector and production.
Two days visit to production facilities and head office of EMG was performed by – BoD Deputy Chairman on production, exploration and oil services of “National Company “KazMunayGas” (further NC KMG), General Director of “Exploration & Production “KazMunayGas”, K.O Iskazieyv, Managing Director IT of “National welfare fund “Smaruk-kazyna” JSC (further Samruk-kazyna)m D.Z. KEREIBAYEV, IT office and digitalization manager of Samruk-kazyna, D. SAKRYUKIN, Managing Director in Oil & gas production of NC KMG, M.Z. SALIMGEREYEV, IT and transformation managing director of NC KMG, D.N. SALOV, director of production processes automation department of NC KMG, T.K. MAKHAMBETOV.
During the first day of the visit, delegation members visited “Uaz” field in Kyzylkorginskiy region, developed by OGPC EMG-OGPC “Kainarmunaygas” and where in 2016 the “Intelligent field” project was successfully implemented.
Representatives of Samruk-Kazyna and NC KMG were introduced in details with ongoing production process, and technical solution on implemented project “Intelligent field”. Then, in the events hall of the “Kainar” accommodation camp, the presentation was made on the results of activity of Company specialists on “Technical maintenance and repair of equipment” project (further TM&R).
During the visit of OGPC “Zhylyoimunaygas”, delegation has introduced with duplication process of “Intelligent field” at Prorva group of fields and digitalization of Gas processing unit. During the visit of “Samal” accommodation camp, representatives of national companies have also introduced with living conditions, meals and recreation of employees.
On the next day, during the visit of Company head office, guests have introduced with interactive museum of EMG and Production processes visualization center. During the visit of Visualization center, EMG specialists have shown how in real time mode from the various systems information is supplied on production operation for operational control and monitoring of facilities, and also how solutions are taken based on received data.
During the summary of visit outcomes, D. Kereibayev noted a huge work performed by the Company specialists on development and implementation of digitalization and TM&R projects, and also had specifically emphasized a huge role of IT group, operational people and business groups of Emba in their successful implementation.
Let’s remind that as a result of implementation of “Intelligent field” project, consumption of power has reduced by more than 30%, expenditures on wells workover have reduced, each well is under 24 hours monitoring for oil production. EMG “Intelligent field” project” is included into state program “Digital Kazakhstan” and obtained a positive feedback from the Head of the Country during the visit of Visualization center in August 2018. In 2017, project was duplicated at Prorva group of fields of OGPC “Zhylyoimunaygas”. In 2018, it is implemented at “Zhanatalap” field of OGPC “Zhaiykmunaygas”. Company plans to digitalize up to 11 fields until 2024.
