On the 17th of October, as part of working visit of the regions on clarification of President’s, N.A. Nazarbayev, message to Kazakhstan people, main office of “Embamunaygas” JSC (further – EMG or Company) was visited by the RoK Deputy Prime Minister, Askar Zhumagaliyev. During the trip, the Vice Minister was accompanied by the Atyrau region Governor, Nurlan Nogayev, RoK Enegry Vice-Minister, Magzum Mirzagaliyev, first Atyrau region deputy governor, Serik Zhapkenov, and other officials and media representatives.
During the visit of Production processes digitalization center, vice minister has familiarized with the concept “Intelligent field” of the Company, and was told about its successful implementation at “Yaz” field and ongoing work on duplicating the concept at other EMG fields.
- As a result of implementation of the concept, power consumption has reduced by more than 30%, costs are reduced for wells workover, a 24 hours metering of produced oil is performed at each well. In 2017, the project was duplicated at Prorva group of fields of OGPC “Zhylyoimunaygas”. In 2018, it is implemented at “Zhanatalap” field of OGPC “Zhaiykmunaygas”. 12 fields in the company will be digitalized until 2024, - noted during presentation of visualization and digitalization center, EMG BoD Deputy Chairman in Production, Aibolat GABDULLIN.
Let’s recall that EMG project “Intelligent fields” is included in to state program “Digital Kazakhstan” and received a positive assessment of the President during his visit to Visualization center in August 2018. Purposes of implementation and duplication of “Intelligent field” system are the automation of business processes with further display of incoming information at Visualization center in real time mode to perform monitoring, analysis and taking operational solutions on oil production optimization and other associated business processes, and also to improve the support process of management solutions applicable to mature assets — high water-cut fields at the late development stages where the extension of economic life cycle, oil recovery and development as a whole are important tasks.

“Embamunaygas” JSC – affiliated company of the “E&P “KazMunayGas” JSC. Officially, the foundation of “Embamunaygas” JSC start from 1922 - since the foundation of “Embaneft” trust to develop Dossor and Makat fields. Main activity of the company: geological exploration, development of oil and gas fields, oil and gas production, oil and gas processing. “Embamunaygas” JSC consists of 6 operational structural units in Atyrau and 4 regional units in Atyrau oblast: “Zhaikmunaygas”, “Dossormunaygas”, “Kainarmunaygas”, “Zhylyoimunaygas”, “Embamunayenergo” company and “Equipment technical maintenance and warehouse management”. Company supplies produced oil for export and to internal market. In the internal market, oil is supplied to oil processing plants in Kazakhstan. Export of oil is conducted via two main routes: along Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS) pipelines. Sales gas sale is performed through the RoK national operator in the sphere of gas and gas supplies – “KazTransGas” JSC. For the last five years, “Embamunaygas” JSC have paid to republican and local budgets around 833 billion of tenge, for the development of regional infrastructure 4,3 billion of tenge were allocated. “Embamunaygas” JSC performs its activity in accordance with the international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 50001.
